Charles brings 15 years of experience as general counsel of an IPO company, directing cross-border (US / China / Taiwan) patent litigation and licensing. His practice has spanned US Federal District Courts, the CAFC, ITC Section 337 and USPTO IPR proceedings, Shenzhen courts and the Beijing IP Court in China, and Taiwan's Intellectual Property and Commercial Court. He has represented patent holders in securing licensing revenue, with experience including the SanDisk ITC defense, cross-border NAND Flash disputes, and a three-state IPCam patent campaign in the US.

Yes. The free plan offers unlimited card scanning and a full CRM (pipeline, tags, interaction logs, automated reminders, Kanban) with no credit card. AI features (opportunity analysis, company research, outreach and MOU/NDA generation) require a paid plan: Standard at NT$99/month, Pro at NT$199/month.
Most card tools only do OCR filing. Card2Gold goes further: a 0–100 opportunity score per contact, plus a 5-source company check integrating the government business registry, court judgments, social, website and news, then outreach-email and MOU/NDA generation, all in a full CRM. It's a business-development platform, not just a scanner, and it's localized for Taiwan.
Yes. Data is stored in a self-hosted PostgreSQL database with per-user row-level security (RLS), so each account can only access its own data. Sign-in uses email/password (bcrypt-hashed) or Google OAuth, over HTTPS throughout. Card images are used only for OCR and never to train AI; you can export or delete all your data at any time.
